Thinking about RTi38 deal

I have an opportunity to pick up a pair of nice looking RTi38 for $69 and am on the fence. I don't really need them (already have speakers that I need to unload) but am curious about them as I've never had any Polk speakers from that era. I haven't listened to them and not sure if I'll be able but physically they seem to be in very good shape.

In general are the RTi38 worth $69? How do they compare to the RTi35, which looks very similar?

Thanks
Stan

Have heard any from that line. NB: that line was VERY short lived, maybe 1.5 years???

I have heard the 35s which are very simulat. I liked them and they would work well for office, patio or Garage speakers. But, I like the rt25is better despite less bass. They have a purer midrange and are very well intergrated, and the bass isn’t too strong like it is on so many Polk bookies...

The rtixx line as mentioned was one of the shortest runs for the rt line. Was a downgrade over the prior series, but would be hard to beat for 69 bucks

I took a look at them again and was able to drive them as hard as I could with my Sandisk Sansa player, which isn't very, and all the drivers were functioning. I snagged them for $60.
