Yamaha RX-A830, Denon DVD-2800

So I need a repair done to my car and these are the best prospects to go towards paying for it. Help a brother out because I love my car and can’t keep driving my parents stuff

First we have a Yamaha RX-a830 in refurbished condition purchased from Accesories4less. Easily 8/10 conservatively. $220 shipped. Sadly I have hardly turned this unit on much less actually fired it up and listened to it. I will include a power cord, manual and the Yamaha factory refurb box it shipped in with the foam inserts.


Second we have a Denon DVD-2800 in mighty swell shape. Check it, some of you folks probably remember when I got this one! It’s the same one I received that had a broken power board, long story short I fixed it and it’s fully functional and plays cds and dvds just fine. The tray does need a small push when closing. This unit has a ding on the right side, a knick near the top and scratch on the display window. Otherwise no signs of wear. $70 shipped.

I upgraded the rca with solid core 18awg twisted copper wire and added a copper iec inlet.

I am really shocked this avr is still here! These are great sounding units and this have PRE-OUTS! So many people on this forum needing a solid avr with preouts this really surprises me...GLWS!

I remember being on the hunt one too, unfortunate I never got around to Using it. I’ll end up getting a slim line Marantz probably. These mid size receivers take up too much room and so does the big amp I have

This should be a no-brainer for someone to get a HT rig up and running on a budget. Room to grow with pre-outs too.

Ugh I really want the CD player but it is holiday time and I don't think I can stretch it without the wife yelling at me. Do you offer wife nagging insurance?
