This might not be the most popular music genre on an audiophile forum, but i've never been a conformist either so...
This show on Netflix is epic if you like old school hip hop. Season 2 dives into more of the stuff i grew up with in the late 80's and early 90's. Love the details on the growth of the early stuff artists like Tribe Called Quest and Geto Boys put out and how they got their break. One of my fav's from back then was De La Soul. 3ft High and Rising was something i listened to (and still can) over and over.
Wonder if this post/thread will fall on deaf ears...
