Speakers arrived today, unmolested by their transit via FedEx.

We listened to them during dinner last night, parked upon the living room floor and powered by a modest (!!) Topping DAC/amp and they were wholly pleasant to listen to! Forced to shut them down when homework hour began, but didn't want to. My older son will have better room-tunes than I could have dreamed of at that age.

Thanks again Al, really a generous karma.

Al stiffed me on those. ;)

Using some Belkin PureAV cables with bananas--really ought to find some plain 'ol 12AWG wire for him. Shouldn't everyone start there?

Nah... everyone should start with black and red 24 AWG on a plastic spool!

The smaler the wire, the cheeper tis, and as size don't madder, it's a no-beaner.
