It seems to be either feast or famine her in Texas when it comes to rain. I can remember not long ago at all saying I'll never gripe about rain again! The last I saw, Lake Travis is 131% full!!!!! Lake Travis has taken on more water in one week than Austin uses in 4 years. The level has come up over 19 ft in the last 24 hours, even though they are releasing 24,981 cubic feet per second, as of 6pm this evening. The Lower Colorado River Authority has several flood gates open, and are releasing water all the way down the Highland Lakes chain right now.
