    I find this amazing to be honest i never would of guessed. This was from the MQA link from Bob Carver in Jesse's MQA thread.

    Wow.

    that is surprising. I can see where it would have sold a lot in volume, because it could be introduced into just about any existing system, but the units were fairly inexpensive new, so I am surprised that it amounted for that much in Revenue.

    It's not all it's cracked up to be. I have it on my Carver C16. SDA is much better. IMHO all it does is move the vocals further to the rear behind the band.

    I find that SDA is very room and placement dependent. SH actually overcomes room deficiency.

    Agree 100%. I had to let a set of SRS 2 go because they just would not work in this room. No matter what vocals seemed to come from the right surround channel. It's a shame to have let them go.

    SH requires a speaker with all the outputs (tweeter, mid, bass driver) to be in perfect alignment both vertically and depth. Once upon a time I had a set of Boston Acoustic A400's with the Carver stuff and it (in my opinion) was superior to the SDA's. BUT I did smoke a lot of weed back then so...

    B&K M200 Sonata monoblocks refreshed and upgraded
    Polk SDA 1C's modded / 1000Va Dreadnaught

    That Adcom 5500 amp seems to be an awesome beast of an amp. I probably would've tried real hard to aquire it.

    How are the Adcom's cosmetics? Smoke free home? Any issues at all? Bent posts, Scratches etc? Sounds as it should? Bridged mode works?
