SVS level matching....

Well, after dialing in the response curve I decided to go ahead and "level" match the output of the SVS with the Athena's. Just took about a 1/16" below the 3rd line on the SVS amp...BANG. I just did a curve for the Athena's and a seperate curve for the SVS, compared the levels of each "strong" frequencies, took an average of both and matched the SVS SPL (in its core freqs) with the level of the AS-F2 in its core frequencies. Dropped the SVS about 2dB to match.
Sounds fantastic!
Thanks again to all who assited!

Sounds like a winner, Steve. Now kick back and enjoy some music! Glad the sub and your Athena integration project was everything you had hoped it would be.

Thanks again Doc for all your help AND patience. I sent a copy of my curve to SVS, they were dumbfounded...literally.Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2
