Are u looking at a used pair? If the price is really good then they might be worth it. But if it’s for home theater I might look for a used pair of RTi10s or RTiA7s. If you are in a large market there are lots of deals to be had!

  • Thanks again for your help....Got the spec sheet and have a better idea about cosmetic changes....
These speakers are great with a frequency response of 28-25k...at a third of list...
TSi 500 has been termed: 'Flagship'

    Okay very important:

    1. Those number are overall frequency response, most likely 10db down at the extremes (-10db) which is pretty much useless. -3db (the standard) is 38hz, BIG difference. That’s almost full range, but I would still want a good sub for some music, definitely for HT.
    2. Flagship (if that word is used) refers to its place in the TSi line. But the TSi line when it was released was somewhere in the middle of the overall Polk lineup. The RTiA and LSiM were both above the TSi, and the true flagship tower is the LSiM707.

Not to say that they aren’t good speakers, but I still stand by my original advice.
