1-1962 silver plate dual support halo, short silver/nickel plate
1-1963 silver plate dual support halo, short silver/nickel plate.

These are becoming very rare and hard to find. Only made for about 2 years. They are superb tubes and are very well balanced and more neutral than some tubes. Big sound stage, tight bass and crisp highs w/o any fatigue. They seem to have a bit more "zip"....

They are used but are very strong. This is my last spare pair.

I will post actual pics later, but here's a sample photo.

$140/pr. plus shipping and insurance.

How do these compare to mullard tubes
    - Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

Mullards, are pretty much opposite. I love Mullards but they can be a bit slow and veiled w/some gear and on some source material. To me the Siemens are a cross between the Mullards and Telefunken. Tele's can be a bit stark in some gear and Mullards can be a bit dark. These sort of bridge that gap and have tighter bass than TFK's.

You won't get the richness in the mid (vocals) that Mullards can exhibit, these tend to be a bit more transparent and have more clarity with out ever sounding thin. Details and vocals are delicate w/o being "thick".

Detail in spades w/o ever being aggressive or fatiguing.

Last bump before they move on to other selling sites.

These are superb sounding tubes, among the best ECC82/12AU7's around. I am keeping a quad for myself, but I don't need this 5th pair.
