    I have high speed internet with Comcast. (Xfinity). Will this work to replace the modem from them that I am currently renting for 10 dollars a month? If so I will take it. Thanks. D

    I also have Comcast so it will definitely work with their service. The question is at what speed? I upgraded to get faster speeds with an Arris SB8200.

    If you currently have their rental SB8200 this one would slow you down. If you have this unit or equivalent it would work with no change in speed.

    Do u know which modem you’re now renting? If not, look on the bottom and you can see the model number. Or call them and they can certainly tell you.

    I need to go to Fed ex today to ship a couple of other things, so if you want to send me your mailing address I’ll send you the modem. If it doesn’t work feel free to give it to Goodwill, or whatever. But I think it will work for you and negate your monthly rental from Comcast.
