    HDMI 1.1. Cannot decode the lossless codexes, but can accept multi channel pcm if your bdp such as an oppo can internally decode.

    Edit: it looks like the HDMI might be video pass through only. Can the OP confirm?

    Hi all.

    I didn’t use the hdmi pass through with this unit.

    I used the digital out from my Blu-ray to the AVR. Depending how the movie was recorded the AVR did display which format it was in (DTS, Dolby, Etc etc)

    Sounds excellent.
