Vintage score...

Picked up a Sansui 350a, and a pair of Electro Voice speakers in near mint condition this afternoon, for free! I will post some pictures later, but that little Sansui looks to be a well regarded receiver for its day. Not sure what model the speakers are but they are huge....

It is important for you to identify the EV loudspeakers for... umm... some of us.

    :)

This may help, if they're old ones:

If they're kinda old ones, check http://www.alliedcatalogs.com/ (and be patient) :)

If they're 1970s vintage, check my Warehouse Sound catalog scans:

EV was all over the map, from the sublime to the ridiculous well, far from sublime. :p

I will let you know tomorrow. They easily weigh 100 pounds each, and are very large in width and depth. They are not corner loaded like some I have seen. Once I get the back off, I will know what they are.

I've never seen an "A" variant, though, so I dunno about that, sorry!

Looks like hifiengine does have the "A" manual, though :)

The Sansui looks fun, after a good cleaning, lube, cap check would be a mod to replace the the spring clips with binding posts :)
