Remote Stopped Working

I have a Polk Magnifi MINI which has worked perfectly for about a year. Just today, the remote suddenly stopped working altogether. Put in fresh batteries, but still not working. Any suggestions?

Having the same issue but with the command sound bar. Hope someone has some input soon, to either issue.

Hi just got a polksound bar sub woofer and Bluetooth wireless speakers from a friend of mine who purchased it a couple of years ago I got ital working but and tuned my Samsung remote into it but can’t control the remote speakers sound and balance level it seems like the remote that came with it dosnt seem to work. Can anyone suggest s solution

One super-cool way to check remote controls is to use the camera on an Android smart phone. This will confirm if your remote is bad OR if the IR receiver on the mini is bad:

• Get out an Android-based smart phone.
• Turn on the camera.
• Point the remote control at the lens on the phone.
• You should see flashing purple when you press a key on the remote.
• If you don't see any flashing lights when you press a key, the remote is definitely not transmitting.
• This test cannot be performed on an IPhone as Apple adds infra-red filter inside their cameras making it impossible to see the remote control transmissions.
• Allen Renning at Yamaha taught me this cool trick twenty years ago.
