A deal if you can build a box

That's right, I have a Titanic 12" sub and a sub amplifier for sale. Spend $10.00 on mdf at Home Depot and build a square box and you have a value of $500.00 for less than $200.00. These items are as new. I have had them for about 3 months. I have a small room and this is just to much bass for me. I listen to more music than home theater and my mains do great on bass for that. I am going to have a sub but much smaller. I have the original boxes and packaging from partsexpress.com.

    Nice deal Jimmie! If you're planning on a smaller sub in the future, why not hold on to the amp and just sell the subwoofer? I'm tempted but it would just be hoarded until I have more time for projects. :D

    Sounds like a great deal. Do they come with everything to put them together? I would jump on this, but I know nothing about building subs.

    I have 2 identical amps. I have not decided what sub or if I will get another right now. My mains sound good with music and not bad for movies.
    If I do get another I may go with the smaller Titanic or a small Peerless.

    I have the sub and amp. It will require you to build a cabinet with a cutout for the driver and a cut out for the amp. The driver is front firing and the amp mounts on the back. I had them in a 14"x 14" sealed enclosure (mdf).

    This is the original Titanic. Check out the link if you haven't already. They are now up to a mkIII. Before buying I went to partsexpress.com to the "ask an expert " forum and asked what sub had less boom to it and a quicker sharper response. The original Titanic is what they recommended.

    This is a great subwoofer for music guys. We haven't come up with a deal yet so now is your chance for an audiophile quality sub at about 1/2 price. If no one else picks it up I might get it as a future replacement driver for mine.

    i bought the amp. only reason why i did not get the driver is becasue i barely had room in the budget for the amp itself. if the driver does not go in about 2 weeks, for 50 bucks?, i'll be all over it!

    I sold the Titanic sub today. Thanks for the plug for that Madmax.

    I built an 11 x 11 box today and bought a scan-speak 8" driver for it. I am using an amp identical to the one I sold lou. I just got it together and don't have it set up yet. I will do that tonight. It is the smallest sub I've had. I'm hopeing for some bass but nothing over whelming.
