    What type of search did you run?

    I check ebay a couple times a day with a
    "Polk Speakers" search, but these didn't come up, and still don't.
    What's your technique brother?

    "Polk speakers", searching titles only - this auction wouldn't come up.

    "Polk speaker" search shows it plain as day (as those 2 words are *actually* in the title.)

    Keep it simple if you need to and just search 'Polk' in the 'speakers' category.

    Yes, these were the original flagship big boys. $2500 is over the top for a BIN price... Historical ebay for these has been $1500 to $2000. You're right, the big question is, "Where is the reserve?"

    Hey ... I'm never shy about this sort of stuff ... ASK ... sellers will usually tell you and if they ask why you want to know just tell him it's so he doesn't wind up with the last bid being $3 under the reserve ...

    I paid $2300 for mine but I think that was a little high. Mine also had a crack in the top. They are too tall to see it anyway but would be easy to fix.

    I asked about the reserve price and the interconnect cable. I got a 'yes' on the interconnect and no comment on the reserve price.

    Very easy to fix. My left SRS had a hairline crack along one of the lamination seams. Wood filler and stain was all that was needed.
