Any interst in a Sansui 2000A

Someone locally is selling a Sansui 2000A receiver in great shape (he says) for $50.00. I have no idea what it is worth, but know there are some vintage Sansui fans out there. Let me know if any of you want it. Jeff

That's great that you know how to search ebay Faster (and I guess at the same time you think Jeff can't apparently).

The one Jeff found is in 'great shape' (supposedly), the one you found is missing a power knob, cabinet is rough, and is being sold 'as-is'.

Not quite a true valuation, you think?

What we DO know about the 2000/A is it was made from 73-75, rated at 35wpc with an MSRP of $300. One of the biggest issues with some of the older Sansui's was the lettering being easily worn on the facia. If the lettering is legible (complete), and it's in the shape the seller claims, it's a decent deal - not a steal mind you, but not out of line either.

(In my oh so very humble, non combative opinion of course.)
