marine speakers/amp

Need a quad of speakers for the pontoon. Gotta upgrade the stock ones. 6.5 inch. Would like to stay under $120. Also, a 4 channel amp would be awesome.

Polk makes marine speakers... DB series, according to crutchfield.

Only issue I see is that as soon as you slap the word "marine" on anything, it doubles or triples the price.

As for your price range, is that total, or per pair?

Fest that not totally true. Rockford Fosgate makes an amp the TM400X4AD that’s the marine version and they are only about 50 dollars more than the T400X4AD. They are pretty popular with the Harley crowd. I actually own one too. They can be found on the auction site for about 400. JL audio also makes some decent marine amps. Dave also if you’re interested the Rockford amp is for sale. It’s new never used still in the plastic. Pm or text me.

I'm running the 6.5" DB652 Polks in my Jeep, they are shallow mount and marine grade and I would highly recommend them. VAST improvement over the Kicker that were in there, the tweeters a touch hot, but they are nicely balanced and plenty of SPL even without an amp. Got mine off ebay for right at your budget (4 of em).

I went with Atrium 8's, still have to install em on my 13' Whaler, but was looking at polk's ebay store, best buy and amazon for the 4's or 6.5's or the Atrium's.....good luck !
