I am picking up a pair of Monitor 12's tomorrow. I was wondering if anyone has ever owned these and your impression of them. I don't know what I am going to do with them, but I have never heard them so I have to get them. I have owned monitor 4's, 5's and 10's. I have owned the rta 8's, 11's and 15's. I am axious to see how these compare to my 15tl's.
These will probably end up for sale on the forum after I demo them for a while. I really have no place to use them.

Thanks, Jeff

They seem to be fairly rare, look forward to your impressions.

    Cheers,

Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.

Guy has a pair for sale here, went by for a look see + demo and was very impressed. His are first gen, only problem that I had with them is he wanted 400 for them and they had been painted with white paint all over to match the room. If I had the cash I would offer him 100 as is but I don't believe that he would be to quick jump on the bandwagon.

I brought the 12's home. They are in pretty good condition with a couple of chipped corners. I can't hook them up because I F***ed Up 2 of the driver in transporting. I have no idea how I did it. There are nice little cuts in 2 of the drivers. I am now on the qwest for 2 6503 drivers. Let me know if anyone has any. I will post pics later.
