I bought 100 feet of 10 gauge Hugfen Audio speaker wire. I think it's meant for car audio. I want to use it for home audio (Rt3000's etc.). Is there a difference in car and home audio speaker wires? If so, what is the difference???
Thanks.
Thanks.

It will do just fine, I'm jealous, I only got 12awg.

Found it on Ebay. It was about $37 with the shipping. I don't know if that's a good price or not but it looked good at the time.

Well, lets look at the facts. 100 feet of 10 AWG wire for $37. SUPER DEAL. I'm not familiar with that brand of wire, but I'm sure it will be fine.
If that wire was actually designed for the auto environment, it COULD mean it has extra sheilding, a heavier jacket, ect.... All these things would be fine in the home environment, the more is better thing applies.
As long as it's not some silly color, like neo pink, you're all good.;)Bob Mayo, on the keyboards. Bob Mayo. -
It's dark blue, but pink sound fabulous too. (;
