Lead free solder? lolCan’t believe I missed this somehow, but the C370 and similar line have Toroidal power supplies just like the Bee series. So what did they improve?

Perhaps man perhaps. Expensive magic dust sprinkled here and there? I’ve personally found that Jameson improves sound quality dramatically. -

Hi all - time for a thread revival :-)
I once owned a 2200PE (and miss it for sentimental reasons as well as performance) and now just acquired a C275BEE (chose this for reliability reasons over an older 2200).
I am curious, what does a dyno test for the 275 result in? As compared to the nice YT link above?
And should I just forget about the 2200 and be happy? Or…. 😅 -
If you do a quick comparison of the two amplifier's schematic drawings the overall designs are very similar. Both have tightly regulated power supplies with adequate filtering and employ NAD's proven design of plenty of reserve capability for peak demands. The output stages are similar but a little different, the newer amplifier uses (I assume Toshiba) 2SA2121/2SC5949 complimentary pairs power transistors and the older amplifier uses (here again Toshiba) 2SC3281/2SA1302 output devices. All of these transistors have similar specifications, 200volt collector current. The newer amplifier uses one additional pair over the older. The circuit path seems similar, no blocking capacitors and no output inductors.
It looks like the two amplifiers follow NAD's proven design, moderate continuous output power, not load dependent, and lot's of reserve or peak power ability for brief demands (the service manual for the newer amplifier states: Peak output current 1msec, 1 ohm > 50A).
