At least your dishwasher had a manual.

Previous owner of my house only kept half the manuals. Threw the rest out. Had to go download the manual from some other site.

Funny thing is, I have manuals stapled to rafters in the garage for garage door openers are that aren't the ones installed.

Anyhoo, I miss the 1976 Kitchen Aid dishwasher at my old house. Made more noise than a dump truck driving through a nitro glycerin factory but damn can it clean a dish!

Who needs that painted design on the plates anyway.
Those old dishwashers had some power behind those water jets.

I honestly had zero problems with it.

I never put the fine china in it but I wouldn't put fine china in any dishwasher, that's just a dumb idea.

Steve Jobs used to say that if the user can't take it out of the box, plug it in, turn it on, and use it immediately, THE ENGINEERS DID NOT DESIGN IT WELL ENOUGH.

Now, that's validation of the Man Card! :)
