Poor girl, Emma is supposed to go see Disney on Ice and she woke up like this. Wife freaked out so I guess I gotta get to work.
I can see how people can be freaked out by this especially how it takes a while to see your doctor.
It’s the one thing I like about what I do, though there are many things I don’t like about what I do.
Anyway, hope she makes it to her Disney on ice show, she’s been excited for a month.

Maybe she subconsciously doesn’t like Disney. Didn’t she get sick a year or so ago before a trip to Disneyland.

Couldn’t get the pic to show that the left face was all swollen up... unlikely pink eye if it happens that quick with unilateral swelling.
Poor girl, all she said was can we still go to Disney?My daughter is sick today too - BM issues. The house smells PUTRID right now! I've almost gagged several times and my son keeps complaining. I feel bad for her as she has been isolating herself most of the day. No fever or any other symptoms.
I hope she gets better Joey. I know you'll take good care of her. It looks what like my daughter was going through when you helped us. I'm still indebted and grateful to you for that.

I figured it out, seemed more like a contact allergic reaction rather than an ingestion or infection
Infection shouldn’t cause that much skin swelling in 6hours though the red eye was a curveball. When I examined the eye it appeared more chemotic and edematous rather than pink eye.
So 1 drop of cipro antibiotic to clean it out, couple drops of an ophthalmic antihistamine and a low dose of oral steroids. I didn’t want to do any Benadryl as that is sedating and I wanted her to go to her show.
3 hours later... voila!

When my daughter (7) was in Texas for spring break my mom called to tell me that she got bit by some fire ants and is a little swollen.
Yeah turns out a little means her eyes were almost completely shut and face swollen up to heck. It's scary when you are 1000 miles away and can't do anything but wait for the phone call that she is alright which thankfully came an hour or so later after visiting urgent care.Just a dude doing dude-ly things
