I need to clean two RT1000i's, a CS245i, and two new f/x300i's. Anyone know an easy and simple way to clean them of dirt build up?
Thanks!
Thanks!

compressed air in a can works well...

Do you spray it through the back of the grill? Also if I wanted to order some new grills, just in case, should I just call Polk?

if they are just dusty/dirty..use a vacum... works like a charm:D

I use the 3M rollers for removing lint from clothes. Works like a champ.

If they are to dirty for the methods above to work try a mild detergent. If they are that bad, up at the top of the page you will see service and parts in the yellow area. Go there and find the grilles you need, they are listed under general parts. With the prce break for club members and free shipping it's not to bad if you need new ones.Chris

i take them off and spray both sides, get most of the dust/dirt off by spraying from the front sideways to blow it off, not through, then spray from behind through the cloth to get the rest out...
works well and keeps the cloth looking new... -
Thanks guys, we are doing some mini-construction in the basement and some dust and crap have gotten everywhere including the covers. Thanks for the help.;)

A stiff clothes brush works well also.
