I believe these are used in some Manley gear and possibly some VTL’s. Just reply in. And the winnah will be drawn and announced on FRIDAY AT HIGH NOON,

These are sort of 12AT7-like twin triodes (not 100.000% inter-operable due to higher filament draw and lower max rated plate voltage, though) and look to be exceptionally cool tubes.
I would please like to be "in", despite being, unfortunately, Manley and VTL-free.
If that disqualifies me -- I certainly understand!
Very neat-o karma!

LOL Awesome karma but no need for them. Congrats Doc!"Some people find it easier to be conceited rather than correct."

I may be able to use them depending on the plate voltage in the Paramours. Reports on the internet are mixed. Not that I've actually checked the plate voltages on mine for about 15 years.
Besides, they're nice tubes and a little line-level thingy could be designed for them -- I like a challenge (as long as it's a leisurely challenge -- no deadlines or nothin').
They are neat tubes with a lot of potential.
(heh -- a little Ohm's Law pun there)
Thanks!

Exchanged e-mails with Gary Kaufman last night. He's pretty bullish on these tubes and felt that they shouldn't be unduly stressed as voltage amplifiers in the Paramours -- so that's where I'll try them anon.
