And 2 pair 10s...a pair Rta 8tls (my first polkies) and a pair of 5s and 5jrs... Can say im addicted.. Just stopping in to say hello! Welcome to Club Polk! I joined back in December with a set of 2B's as well. Since then, I now have 2 sets of 1C's one stock except for the tweeter upgrade (easy to do), and another WIP fully modded set! Oh yeah my 2-channel rig is completely transformed with the help of Polkies!

Lot's of roads to go down with your 2B's - have fun!

Repair it. If you can reach it from the inside, scuff the surface and apply a rubber weld with a q-tip. The repair will be invisible. The weld should contact the fissure walls as well as the stuffed surface. Use as little as is necessary.

Welcome, mn_polk_guy, to Club Polk, form another MN Polkie!

I think I may have seen those 2Bs recently on CL(?). Are they the pair with the minor water stain on the top end cap?

You look like you got well down into the Polk rabbit hole prior to your arriving here. I did it the other way around, just had my Monitor 10Bs before joining. Since then, I've got Monitor 7 (IIs), 5Jr+s, VM10s (surrounds), CS400i (x2), SDA-1Cs, LSiM703s and a pair of DSW-550i subs.

    AND...Monitor 7Cs, 4s, 5Jrs; RT12s; VM30s, 20s and 10s; LSi7s, 9s, FXs and 15s; R50s; PSW10 and 110; RM8000Ts, 7300Ts, 7302s; DSW-3000 and 2000, etc., etc. have all moved through here at one time or another, to name a few.

I'd ask a local bike shop what they recommend first...
