Wow, if that doesn't give you a little insight into a president who doesn't care about how history is gonna view his actions...

It's scary to think this man has his finger on the button.

ENOUGH, SHUT THE HELL UP ALREADY!!!

I/we are sick of the political posts and that goes for both of you, but Spyderman since you seem to like to start these posts if you keep it up I will personally see to it that you are banned. GET IT!?!

Hey spydy, instead of overwhelming these boards with your propaganda, why don't you just state your manifesto once and why you believe that way and be done with it.

You are not going to convince anyone here to take up your cause, in fact, it seems the opposite. But if you are really a republican trying to re-elect Bush keep on truckin’!

(If people like you are the ones voting for Kerry, I will be damn proud to vote for Bush just to keep your guy out)

As this is an audio/video forum, I agree with F1. Political posts should be left out.

BUT, I would like to point out that if the Bush administration keeps going the way it is, you and I will eventually NOT be able to post here.

What I mean is, all the curse words used in this forum will be deemed indecent by "Colin Powel Jr." (head of the FCC) and Polk will be fined millions of dollars, thus they will have to shut the forum down.

Does this sound silly? Yes it does. The Bush admin. is already going after TV & radio, the **** industry, and the Internet in an attempt to eliminate what they determine to be indecent.

I do intend this to be a joke, so forget about nitpicking my statements to death. BUT, it is all too scary what is going on right now with the FCC, and this could all very well NOT be a joke, it could all turn out to be true.

It is such a redundant circle. Next he will come back and say it is his right to voice his opinion here, and then we have to remind him that it is his right to voice his opinion on any street corner he pleases, just not the polk website...... because well it's POLKS website!!

They pay for the space *bleep* not you. When will that get through your skull? And why does it matter what, maybe 35 regulars, think about your politics? I mean are you that much of a hound to keep pushing it down our throats? For what reason, to flame, to piss people off? We come here to talk about audio, and basically chill out, and view stupid *bleep* like the subserviant chicken (which I enjoy!) but we are all done with the political crap. Last march and april cured us of that. Leave it to the beltway boys, or meet the press, or your dining room table, but leave it the *bleep* off here.

Thats my first and last post on this subject.

    avelanche....

Don't forget that he "doesn't understand the hostility" and it must me something about you that your'e unhappy with because you're the one that has a problem with what he's saying.

He's an innocent victim because he's just relaying the facts and has done nothing wrong. I mean, this IS the Off Topic forum where he wants to post whatever he wants....

He'll take my post as support for him when in reality I'm laughing at him for being such an ignorant ****. He's on the ignore list, and you can just tell from his thread titles that they're useless ramblings of a loser that has nothing better to do than hound people with that crap. He's not too bright though, but that's ok.....I get a laugh out of those that "don't understand" as much as he's shown he doesn't.....

    Right, but who's rules?

If Polk wants to limit language on their site, fine. It is their site.

But if Polk doesn't care, why should the government be able to tell them otherwise? The whole free speach issue is a complex one. If you haven't guessed, I'm all for free speach. I'm against the current administrations view on "indecent" material. McCarthyism (spelling?) is alive and well with Bush at the helm.

Now, I did say that I do not wish for politics to be part of this forum, but this is an issue that could affect this very forum.:(

When will you people learn that you can't post that kinda language?

PM, put me on ignore if you don't want to read my posts. No one is forcing you...

It's amazing what the Bush administration thinks they can get away with. They are just way to far to the right for the average person with their own views on what decency is.

Freedom of speech, basic civil liberties are all being trampled on by this administration.

According to Woodward, Bush thinks it's his job to bring freedom to the rest of the world. This guy has proven everthing thats been said about him. I thought he was more moderate, I thought Cheney was the extreme right, but it appears they both are far right. I only wish Powell and Rice had more of a moderating influence.

I wouldn't know since I can't eat peanuts, but I would say that I prefer crunchy almond butter over smooth and smooth sunflower butter over crunchy so who's to say what is better...?

I used to love the nuclear hot deep fried McDonalds blueberry pies, those were the bomb... Then someone complained about them being "too hot" and "not healthy" and now all the sell is the baked apple garbage...
