Recapped Kenwood Basic C2 preamp - Sold

This pre has an excellent MM or MC phono stage with cartridge loading.
It has been recapped by a highly regarded tech on Audio Karma. He also bypassed the wonky balance control that always seems to fail on this model. It was never an issue for me because I have separate gain controls on the power amp I used with it.

This is presently being used in my living room, which gets used the least of my systems. I've owned it for almost two years and have put less than 100 hours on it. If this sells, I may sell the Crown DC300A that is paired with it now.

The remote shown in the photo is not included. This model does not have remote capability.

Price is $300 for local pick up in Erie, PA. CONUS shipping will be between $30 to $40 depending on your location.

I don't do PayPal, but will accept a personal check or USPS MO.
