in 2 Channel Audio
So, unveiled the 3.1TLs last night and looked under the covers... and what do I find but tweeters that are not twins. Now how did that happen? Must have bought them that way. I need to get this fixed. And who knows what else is not right inside. Going to have to crack those guys open and see what I can find.mhzp4cmpfhls.jpg

    The 2500s should have foam around the dome like the 3000 does but black instead of a "black chrome" type finish.

    I thought so as well. The SL3000 IIRC could come in a couple of colors. I seem to remember goldish and a blackchome.

    That is a RD-0198 tweeter. get another.

    It's obvious what you have. One SL3000 and one RD0198, no need to pull them.

    I haven't done that Mike, but it's on my list. Have to decide to rebuild the 3.1s the SDA 2s or the M7s. Or all of them and just figure out what order they are to be done. :D

    I still have my 7’s and 3.1’s to do also. I may get around to the 5a’s after that since I already reveneered them.I will probably leave the 3.1’s to Dave unless I get really brave after doing the others. :|
