hooking up turntable to speakers

We just got a new set of Polk speakers to use with a Sony turntable but the Sony has RCA and USB and the Polk has optical in, how can this be resolved, is there a cable for this?
The speakers didn't some with one at all...

Must be a soundbar? You probably need a USB to optical converter but the model of the Polk product would help us determine that.
