FS: Denon AVR-3801 AV Surround Receiver

Within the past year I’ve completely upgraded my surround sound system to components (and Polk LSi speakers) and now have no need for the Denon receiver.

The receiver is in perfect condition and would be an excellent low cost home theater starter receiver for someone getting into home theater surround sound for the first time (or an upgrade for a lessor receiver). I have everything that shipped with the receiver including the remote, manual, and box.

Features:

Digital Surround Sound Decoding (Dolby Digital, DTS, DTS-ES Extended Surround and DTS NEO:6)
Wide screen mode for a 7.1-channel sound even with 5.1-channel sources.
24 bit/96kHz sample rate Digital to Analog Conversion (DAC)
Dual Surround Speaker Mode
Component Video Switching
7.1-channel analog audio input along with 7.1-channel pre-amp outputs (I used the Denon as a pre-amp for a year before replacing it with a dedicated pre-amp)

Specifications:

Power Amp rated output: 105 watts per channel (8 ohms, 20Hz ~ 20kHz with 0.05% THD)
Analog Frequency Response: 10Hz ~ 100kHz: +0, -3dB (Direct Mode)
Signal to Noise Ratio (S/N): 102dB
Dynamic Range: 96dB

MSRP (new): ~ $1200

My price (used): $250 plus actual shipping cost (lower 48 states)
Best Regards, Cliff
