You guys are pretty good in identifying speakers of an older age. I saw these while cruising E-Bay and and struck me as I never saw those from this maker. Most heard of ESS Heil Speakers, they make the rock monitors, and different types of pyramid style speakers generally w/ a giant 12" driver front and a 12" passive in rear and the famous Heil Radiator tweeter on top of them. These have a look similar to Bose 901s and over at AK they were guessing it's a large tweeter. All it has is the Heil Radiator and a crossover. wood bracing and nothing else. I know of no tweeter that plugs into the main spkrs. Yes stage monitors plug into one>out>in then out to the board. If you know of these how do they hook up, what powers them, what year made and so on. I'll call ESS in Cali on Monday, if you dudes ever saw this just enlighten us.....Lew

Look like bi-amp extensions... And would be wired and treated as such.

So, regular speaker 2 wire cable to your speakers then a set of 2 to these things then all meet at amp ? How would you match these to other brands. Clearly they aren't going on top of their pyramid models or rock monitors for that matter. Tweeters belong ear height not lower, this ESS will have to spell out to me..
