Trying to identify those speakers...

Hello everyone,

I have those speakers, without any labels on them, and I try to identify exact models. I will appreciate any help.

First one is a centre speaker, front panel size is 46cm/18.1in width and 15cm/5.9in height.

Then I have a pair of bookshelf speakers (they also have hangers at the back). Front panel size is 18cm/7in width and 32cm/12.6in height.

They were given to me as a set together with a pair of M Series M II speakers (fortunately, those have their labels at the back) if that helps. They all have all-style Polk Audio logo on them.

Thank you!

Look to be polk cs100 center channel speaker and polk rt3 bookshelf speakers. Certainly not bad for free!!!

  • Thank you for your response! I did some more research and based on photos found online I think that the bookshelf speakers are RT3 indeed, however, the center one is CS200 rather (CS100 has a bass reflex hole).

Not bad for free, you say? Am I a lucky guy then? ;-) So... Let's say I have this set:
    2x RT3
    2x M Series M3 II
    1x CS200
2x Monitor Series 5J4 (I had them before I got those listed above).

Would they make a good 7.1 set with some subwoofer (like PSW250 for example)? Or this is some kind of a crazy idea? What amplifier would be a good choice to drive it? What about Onkyo TX-NR575?
