Went ahead and ordered a new Parasound Halo A21. Black of course, because I'm not a racist. Looking forward to hearing it on the Imagine T2's. The HCA served me fantastically, especially since I got it new for $725.00, 15 years ago. She'll either get sold, or put up for a grandchild that might show an interest in hi-fi later.

Might even experiment with XLR's from the output of the Benchmark. We'll see.

    I dunno, Yep. There have been studies done that indicate that "mauve" and "puce" add a little sumpin-sumpin to the audiophile listening experience.

    You might want to try spray painting a set of cables to verify those studies.
    Unfortunately, neither Krylon or Rust-oleum offer "mauve" so you might try using a lavender or light purple. That should yield about the same results. I'm pretty sure.

    They do have mauve paint. It's right next to absolute black. Should not be THAT hard to find. B)

    Mines Silver and has a extra Channel but color don't matter to me it is on a Black amp stand.
