Dr. Spec has been an outstanding resource for those of us wrestling with subwoofers. I'd like to propose a name change.

I voted for the original Dr.Spec because he seems to have all the specs when you need them!He has really helped alot of people wade through the technical stuff ,it comes natural to him.Although alot of the tech stuff goes right over my head at times!

    C'mon guys. :o

Actually got the moniker from my shooting buddies who were amazed at my ability to dredge up long range shooting in-flight and terminal ballistic data.

Even seen Sniper 2? When he asks that guy the hold-over at a 15 degree donward angle at 400 yards with a 5 MPH crosswind (or w/e) and he looks up at the ceiling for a second and spits out the windage and drop numbers - well, that's me. I would have been a Marine Corp Sniper for sure if my bad back hadn't disqualified me on the physical.

Sentimental bunch..I respect that. Dr. Spec, if you're ever in the area you'll have to check-out my homebrew AR-15..fun, fun, fun! I'm actually a handgun nut at heart though. Used to shoot competetively in the early 90's. I was also the Rangemaster for M-9 and M1911A1 training/qualification while in the Army. Qualified Expert on all 3, M16A2, M9, M1911A1. Man I miss that stuff...

Believe it or not I qualified expert on the M16 also. I held back two Ray Charles during qualification just in case and when all was said and done I gave back Two shells to the Drill Sergent.

I have the medal somewhere around here...

This seems like a good time to pose this question. Is Dr. Spec a doctor?
