I auditioned several subs thanks to local hifi dealer in town. Was planning on going with the sunfire.
My Wife liked the small foot print and I did like the sound...fast and accurate.

I ordered SVS to "hear it". Had all intentions of sending it back or placing for sale because I had made up my mind I didn't like the looks and the sound would be like any other good quality sub.

    I WAS WRONG!

I was/am so impressed with the seemless trans in music and that in your face CLEAN...LOW...ht use bang...
Screw it...you guys that have heard this sub know what I am talking about.
As far as looks? The wife said..."NO WAY are you sending that back! Yes, it's big...but it looks nice and "I like the way it feels" LOL

I'm sure Steve will be happy to hear the 25-31PC+'s "little" brother is so capable and musical.

    Congrats!

your reaction is exactly the same as everyone else (me too) when you first hear a SVS sub. i've had mine about 6 months now. and it still amazes me. it mates well with Polk line of speakers.

    enjoy!

    Back on topic...

    nbj,
    Congrats on the SVS.

Thing that caught my eye in your pic was the floorstander sitting on a pedestal. Don't think I've ever seen that before...

    Tour,
The S10's stand approx 32"...after many different experimentations, I found that putting them on a 12" stand really made them sound much cleaner. Tweeter is now closer to ear level. I had also put a slab of stone on the top of the stand for better bass response too.
