Phuz still visits the ToolArmy website. Last log in day was yesterday.

As far as here...who knows. I never see him post, but he might be here lurking in invisable mode.

You really want to think about Snake, Ron? One of the great psychopaths of all-time. How about some really great characters from before the millenium even:

    Bob McG
    Mike McG
    Darrin the Lunatic
    The Gill Man
    Frozen Willie
    Derek Alba
    John Bonaci
    Aaron (maybe not before 2000)
    Stubby

Only Ron, Madmax, and John Strong will remember some of those names.

Yeah, where is SHG (So Hot Guy) anyway?

Maybe he found his remote finally.

TrappedUnderLaundry hangs out in the car audio forums only.

Phuz (Aaron) has been in Iraq for a couple months now. He's doing a Halliburton stint.

    Cheers,

You got it George. Always wondered what happened to the McG brothers.

Enjoyed the hell out of the SDA discussions from years back. I guess they got tired of all the surround talk. They were big 2 channel advocates.

If you guys are still peaking your heads in here, give a shout out.

Trapped Under Ice trolls the car audio forums. I've seen him post over in the home audio side once in a blue moon. He used to be cool but his conceited and overwhelmingly elitist attitude towards everyone here and everything Polk Audio has made him pretty much a pissy little anger monkey. He doesn't like Polk car audio products but he hangs out there all the time and does nothing but disparage them. Makes you wonder why he hangs around a place so devoted to something he hates.

I can't speak for the others, I don't know them.

I remember half of those names. I'm like the unseen child; even tho I don't post very much, I've been here a longggg time.

Isn't Snake the idiot who caused you to leave us for a while, George?

After that TUI review, the others are probably glad... :)

    Sorry Shep, I didn't realize.

Snake had so much free time and money on his hands it was scary. Wackjob spent half his day finding out the telephone numbers and addresses of all the people he hated. Then he'd call you. Nice. His previous life consisted of dragging people out of their cars at red lights and beating the **** out of them. I'm sure it was for a good reason. Then he himself was badly injured in a wreck. They say the lord moves in mysterious ways. Maybe the lord does. May have a sense of humor too.

Yeah, I remember several of those on George's list too. I think several of them have been back, at one time or another, with different names. Troy mentioned "dbartol". "Gill Man" was somebody else, too.

I was lurking for a year or so before I registered. Then I was on the "old" forum for a while before they changed formats. I think I showed up asking the old "What receiver....." question. I learned quickly, though! I doubt that there were more than 10-12 "regulars" around back then, and most of them seemed to be great guys.

Wonder what happened to "juice21"? He used to be around every day.

I noticed Gary, "sgtgto" posted a couple of items in the flea market lately.

I remember most of those on George's list, less Frozen Willie and The Gill Man. For some reason, they don't ring any bells.

Around fall '99. Frozen Willie was Ian, the bicycle salesman from Canada. Remember, he was always talking about his "tuque" or some ****?

The Gill Man is Frederick F. from Dallas. He is EMT certified and a million other things, and he had about ten fish tanks, so I started calling him The Gill Man.

I'm glad to see Darrin the Lunatic is still around. Good man.

Yeah, Gary "sgtgto" is from the old days too.

I'm here guys. I pop in once in a while but don't post much if ever. You can bet that I'll be back around old school style when I come home and start shopping and upgrading again. ;)

I see an LCD/Plazma TV, new Rotel, and Martin Logan gear in my future....
