I was given a pair of Polk Audio 5065-5746 computer speakers, and I was just wondering if anyone has any info on them, and if they are any good, (and possibly how much they could be worth, though from looking on eBay it doesn’t seem like much). Thanks for any help!

To put it nicely, they're crap.

If that's "nicely", I would hate to hear "bluntly".

Lol that’s what I thought, but I thought I would check here first, thanks!

If you want a good pair of Polk speakers for your PC, take a look at these. They are great.

I was looking at these recently on Crutchfield. These would be great with a small 8" powered sub and a nice 50-100w integrated. If you want a good pair of Polk speakers for your PC, take a look at these. They are great.

Those look awesome! But I wasn’t really needing computer speakers, I was just wondering if they were any good or not (worth selling). If I ever do need computer speakers though, I know what to get for sure!

So what do you suggest I do with these now that I have them?

Whatever you do, don't plug them in and listen to them. E-waste bin?
Or you could, to give you an example of what bad speakers sound like. Then your real/main speakers would sound that much better when you go listen to themmlistens03 wrote: »So what do you suggest I do with these now that I have them?

They’re not worth anything. They go for about 10-15 bucks on eBay. Not worth your time (or at least not worth mine).
Honestly, a cheap Bluetooth speaker will sound at least as good, possibly better lol...Living Room 2.2: Usher BE-718 "tiny dancers"; Dual DIY Dayton audio RSS210HF-4 Subs with Dayton SPA-250 amps; Arcam SA30; Musical Fidelity A308; Sony UBP-x1000es

Yep, once again, what i thought. I already have hooked them up, but I do know what a bad speaker sounds like, I used to have cheap onkyo speakers as my mains. I think they were from the 90s, they were actually 2 center channels, and they cost about 50$ each. Way better than these were, but still... not great. So I will blow these ones up and put it on YouTube

I pulled the driver out of these speakers, turns out they are actually Samsung speakers . Well then, to the trash can they go.
