My Windows 10 laptop downloaded a huge Microsoft update today to fix this issue. Next Tuesday they are supposed to issue the update for Windows 7, 8. The update was so big that I googled what the heck it was, that's the only reason I knew about it. I'm still burning mad about the Equifax hack. I froze my credit to be safe safer. Now they probably got my info through my intel chip.Post edited by Hermitism on

While this is a HUGE vulnerability, the sheer amount of work needed to exploit it makes it very hard and very resource consuming. So it is highly unlikely the average Joe is truly at risk...but big name targets are another story."Some people find it easier to be conceited rather than correct."
