Magnifi one 300w wont recognise ir remote

I have a samsung TV, the remote is both a RF and IR remote (tested with cell phone camera, front of remote lights up when buttons are pressed). The soundbar won't recognise the remote to control its volume. The remote will work with other IR devices, like my rogers nextbox.

Any ideas? I have followed the instructions and the youtube video's.

It might be a good idea to call Polk at 1-800-377-7655 and follow the phone prompts for soundbar assistance. They'll figure it out for you.
