But, folks here were still waiting almost a year later.

What, so about 3 years ago?

Has anybody heard if Polk is working on a replacement for the Lsim line?

Why would they be? They just came out not that long ago. IIRC the LSi line was out for like 15 years or more before they revisited the design and came out with the LSiM's"....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." I would be curious to know how well they are selling. The are good speakers so can't see a reason to change them unless they hope to sell more to the polk fan base.Polk Audio SDA SRS 2.3TL

If you want higher than LSiM they probably direct you to Def. Tech.I would be curious to know how well they are selling. The are good speakers so can't see a reason to change them unless they hope to sell more to the polk fan base.

Well remember when the signatures came out Polk said they were going for a streamlined product - good, better, best - as in t series, signatures and a new line. They also said that the better the sigs sold the sooner the new “best” line can be released. So I think we’ll get an announcement in 2018...Living Room 2.2: Usher BE-718 "tiny dancers"; Dual DIY Dayton audio RSS210HF-4 Subs with Dayton SPA-250 amps; Arcam SA30; Musical Fidelity A308; Sony UBP-x1000es

I have spent all I need to for the next couple of decades. Last set lasted 20 years and still sounded great. I expect the same from these. I don't want to hear about a replacement for LSiM's. Honesty I may go dark on here again once all my equipment and speakers are set up and running. Don't need any other temptation.Polk Audio SDA SRS 2.3TL
