Sears pricematched Crazy Eddie on the 50H81 and I got the whole thing, tax/delivery/3year service for 2300. I was pretty happy with the price overall.
Only set back is I gotta wait til the 31st to get it :-( ARGH! At least I will have it in time for the Superbowl!!!

Now some real NHL 2001 PS2 action!!!

Oh...For some unknown I always feel guilty now whenever I spit outside or have to use the cell in the car...even when I am stopped...THANKS MICAH!

Welcome to wonderful world of widescreen madness!

Oh, and you SHOULDN'T be spitting and jawing on the cell phone while you're driving. Just don't do it.

I would recommend 15-20 ft. Any closer and you have to move your eyes side to side to catch all of the action. Be prepared to calibrate to appreciate. Take your time to align your convergence correctly and take advantage of progressive DVD players. Be sure to get a good set of component video cables for the best possible color depth. Try to keep your rooms light source behind the TV to keep the reflective light to a minimum. I use variable torch lamps myself. Here is a good place to get some tips on your new RPTV. http://www.keohi.com/keohihdtv Congrats on your new setup and enjoy.
