The best pizza I ever had was from Stuc's Pizza in Appleton, Wisconsin. A deep dish "Ultra Meat". Sausage, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, bacon, and homemade ground meatballs. $23.89 for a 12" deep dish and worth every penny. http://stucs.net/menu

Interesting....but sounds more like an open face Calzone rather than a pizza. :)

Those meats and the way they were cooked combined to give that pizza a smell that was almost otherwordly. :p

I'm at the opposite end of the spectrum. Not a fan of deep dish, prefer the cracker thin crust pizza at Zaffiro's on Farwell Ave in Milwaukee.

Now that I am divorced, I no longer travel to Wisconsin regularly. This is a trade-off with which I am most happy. HAHAHAHA

All of my Chicagoland friends used to rave about Aurelio's Pizza. Apparently pairing it with Old Style brand beer was a requirement. :p

uuuugh Old Style I do not know how the drink that stuff (yes I know with their mouth). that has a huge following up there, down state we had different word for their old slogan of " fully krausened" we called it fully poisoned beer.

HAHAHA I have never tried it, but from what I had heard, I suspected it was pretty nasty.

Since first hearing about it 20 years ago or so, I have seen quite a few signs like the one below in movies shot in and around Chicago. :p
