Hi, newbie here one question I just purchased polk 6700 and up
graded to the psw 404 sub. I wanted to know if I place the sub
in a hole in the wall that was used for fire wood, would that cause a problem the hole is approx 20"x20" . It would not be fully closed the opening would not be covered. Also I have read the forum and will be watching mostly movies do I use the sub cable or the speaker wires to hook up the sub.
receiver is Harman kardon 430.
Thanks for any suggestions..

Definitely use the subwoofer cable. As for the cubbie hole, I would guess that you'd be losing some impact by putting it in there like that. But you may still like it. Try it out and let us know what you think.Home:
