External Amp or Oppo 203?

Opinion time. Which do think I would get more bang for my buck? An external amp or an Oppo 203? Don't yet have a 4k UHD player. Curious if the external amp upgrade would be more beneficial with the Onkyo I have. I have running a 7.2.1 set up.

Suggestions?

    Amp first, better subwoofer 2nd. The 505 is too slow to keep up with 9's, especially 9's on an amp.

    Amp, amp and amp. Like many have said used Parasound or B&K gives you some good bang for the buck.
