Any recommendations on either amp? DNA-1 is stock.

    DNA-1 all day long for me, though to be honest, I have no experience with the Parasound directly. I have a DNA-1 and a DNA-0.5 and love them both!

    It's muscular, and detailed without being fatiguing IMO. Gobs of reserve power to control the low end in ways I have not experienced before.

    It actually doubles as the load changes 150w into 8ohms, 300w into 4ohms, and a whopping 500w into 2ohms. I don't often see amps in this price range list a 2ohm stable rating.

    Not that power is everything, it's not. I have had amps that get close to those ratings at least at 8 & 4 ... but more because this amp "sounds" beautiful to me as well - I can't really explain it, but it's the best sounding amp I have ever owned.

    Pulled the trigger on the DNA-1, very nice so far driving the 3.1'S! The ability to upgrade it is intriguing as well.
