Hi guys,
Just wondering the major difference in these two surrounds are, or, which one would work best for me. I'm running a Harman Kardon AVR 430, Polk RTi8's as my front L/R, and a got the free PSW202 as a sub, my room is about 15x30, and full of funtirure and crap. Oh yeah, and I'm thinking of the CSi 3, or 5 as a center...
Anyone that can give me some usefull advice, I'd really appricaite it.
Thanks boys!

Among other things ... different tweeter ...

FXi3's/5's were meant to go with RTi8's

FXi30's/50's were meant to go with an older series of RTi's and CSi's

Nice setup....I would suggest the CSi5 and the FXi3 to compliment your current RTi8's. That would be outstanding.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Do what Doro said.

Oh yeah, and get another sub -- SVS or HSU. It's up to you.
HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50” LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

    superbrett,

I am running the following and could not be happier:

    Hitachi 65T500
    Polk Rti8's
    Polk CSi5
    Polk FXi3's
    Polk PSW505

I will be adding a second set of FXi3's for rear surround and might move up to an SVS sub(there is nothing wrong with the PSW505. It works very well. I will advertise it in the flea market if I do)
