I used 705’s with a Mcintosh mc402 with good results.Klipsch The Nines, Audioquest Thunderbird Interconnect, Innuos Zen MK3 W4S recovery, Revolution Audio Labs USB & Ethernet, Border Patrol SE-I, Audioquest Niagara 5000 & Thunder, Cullen Crossover II PC's.

I have 707’s mated with the only non-autoformer Mc integrated and it sounds great. It’s enough power for my 25x15 room.
