MW6500’s w different styling question

Wondering if the MW6500 drivers w/ the whitish/grayish gaskets on the front and the silver colored baskets from Circa ‘79 sound the same as MW6500 drivers w/out gaskets on the front and w/ black colored baskets from circa ‘83? So, do all MW6500 drivers sound the same? are there some that are more desirable than others? Thanks

Electronically they are the same. The gasket wasn't needed. Paint is paint it imparts no sound signatures I know of
They're all desirable as they are getting harder to get.
