It never ceases to amaze me some of the musical talent out there. Thought it might be cool to start a thread with some unique musicians and instruments after watching some cool stuff at lunch today.
This may not be everyone's cup of tea, but check out Kate Stone - It's too bad she's so hard to look at...

Really dig Heidi Joubert's voice - although I found it funny she really didn't do much on the guitar. She's got some pretty cool videos and tutorials with a Cajon box.

Last one as I have to wrap up the day (and admittedly, this is not an unknown instrument to most but a non-western and one of my all time favorites), all hail the great Ravi Shankar on the scitar:

So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

Thank you . I see Scubalab also remembered this video and group before I read the whole thread.
I don't know how to post a video yet . But anyway ,, the guy on the spoons is great as are the other band members . The banjo picker seems to be world class for sure.
I've played this video quite a few times on my awesome PC sound system from Harman/Kardon .Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them. -

Whenever I get a new copy of my favorite magazine, I paste all.....ummm....nevermind.
(I never had Ron beat me, though. That would just be wrong.) -
Oh i get it your favorite band is Sick puppies.... -

This is a band I'm trying to work with to bring them to the States. Every single one of these musicians has got mad chops! You can skip the intro if you like. They jump in at about 2:15 of the video. We'd be presenting a tribute to Michael Jackson.
