Looking for a CD/SACD player, no DVD/universal players.
Maybe someone is upgrading their current CDP or going all solid state digital/streaming and moving away from physical discs?
Let me know what you got! Thanks!

Another option, while twice your price, is the Marantz HD-CD1: http://www.us.marantz.com/us/Products/Pages/ProductDetails.aspx?CatId=HiFiComponents&SubCatId=0&ProductId=HDCD1

Find you a Rotel RCD-1072. Great reputation. I've never heard one but I do believe the hype was warranted.
I believe he wants both CD/SACD playability there Skipper

Thanks so much for the suggestions, I will research them!
I am open to just CD or CD and SACD player. -
Hey Drew
I have a Rotel 1072 as my back up/secondary unit and I really like it.
so far I have it paired with a TEAC AI-2000 Integrated amplifier I also got here on the forum! they make a nice combo! both have excellent sound!2 ch- Polk CRS+ * Vincent SA-31MK Preamp * Vincent Sp-331 Amp * Marantz SA8005 SACD * Project Xperience Classic TT * Sumiko Blue Point #2 MC cartridge

Nice. I'm bidding on that Rotel on eBay even though it's slightly over my budget. Hopefully it doesn't go up much more.Hey Drew

Ok, surprisingly, I won the Rotel. $360 total after shipping and tax which is more than I wanted to spend, but oh well.

Doesn't sound bad to me (if that makes you feel any better).

Looking forward to giving it a listen. Always been interested in trying out a Rotel.
